Two’s company for DCS Multiserve’s new business ventures.

The team at DCS Multiserve are celebrating the simultaneous completion of two high-priority projects, which will be instrumental in their plans to drive the company forward. This summer has marked both the launch of the company’s brand new website, and the completion of the acquisition of Cumbrian based cleaning company System People.   Patrick O’Hara, HR Manager at DCS, managed the redesign of the website; working closely with design company White Room Creations on the project. He explains their overall vision for the site:   ‘We really wanted the new website to be created with the customer journey in mind – to give our customers a more visual, user-friendly experience.  We also wanted to share more images of the brilliant work our operatives do, and help users to find the service they need quickly and simply. I think we’ve achieved it.   ‘We’re really happy with the finished result; we’ve received some fantastic feedback from our existing customers, and new enquiries are coming in all the time. We’ve also joined the world of social media, so we can let you know what we’re up to on a daily basis. You can like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter – do give us a tweet!’   Meanwhile, DCS Multiserve has also been working with Cumbria-based business solutions company System People on the acquisition of their cleaning division.   Managing Director Michael O’Hara, alongside Operations Director Jim Campbell have been working towards this goal for over the last 12 months, and are delighted that the completion has landed at the same time as the website launch.   Not only...

The company offers Full Facilities Management, including Cleaning, Catering, Washroom Services, Building and Grounds Maintenance, Consumable Supplies and Waste Management to businesses across the whole of the UK and is now actioning an expansion plan. Group operations director Jim Campbell said: “Continuing to grow even in the depths of the recession is a huge success and a testament to the staff we employ. The growth we have experienced, specifically in the last five years, has been exceptional and I strongly believe this is down to our employees and the personal service we offer to our clients.” Even throughout the recession, DCS Multiserve continued to recruit and invested heavily in employee development, a decision O’Hara believes, has been key to the firm’s more recent success. Michael O’Hara said: “At a time when many people were scaling back, we took the decision to recruit new staff and develop a structured training programme and we actually doubled our workforce during this time,” he said. “In a bid to ensure that...
